HOTEL EXPERIENCE: JUMEIRAH BEACH HOTEL, DUBAI+ REVIEW
UAE is not new to us, its been my home for almost four years and ten years for my husband but we never had a chance to stay in this hotel before! My husband participated to the Dubai Half Iron Man, which was the main reason why we had to go.. Deciding where to stay in Dubai is quite challenging because there are so many good hotels in the city but since the event is located in Jumeirah Beach Hotel, we decided to book there to avoid hassles of transportation.
We arrived around 8 am in the morning because Paul had to catch the 10 am practice swim and he had to assemble his bike, as expected our room was not yet ready. The reception was chaotic because of the said event, many triathletes stayed in the hotel coming from all over the world. But despite all the chaos, they still managed to welcome us as for their standards and assured us to have our room by 12 nn.

This hotel was newly renovated. The renovation has been inspired by their location – the sea, the sand and the iconic hallowing sail. What is good about this hoteI in terms of amenities, Jumeirah BH is located on a piece of property that consists of other hotels owned by the Jumeirah group. You have an access to the restaurants, pools (with some restrictions, better check beforehand) and to Souk Madinat Jumeira just by riding the buggy and taking an “Abra” boat on the Madinat Jumeirah lagoon.
And also, a complimentary access to Wild Wadi Waterpark for the duration of your stay. Out of the 4 elevators, on the far right, the elvator is special and made of glass where you have a stunning view of the Burj Al Arab at day and night! Of course we chose that one at least once!
THE ROOM AND VIEW
We booked the Ocean Deluxe Room for 2 nights and 3 days, luckily we got the room on the 20th floor with views of the iconic Burj Al Arab. As we walked through a little hallway, we were greeted in the spacious room with subtle tones of blues and beige and the floor-to-ceiling windows looking out over the stunning view of the Burj Al Arab and elicit the calmness of the Arabian Gulf. The room has separate rain shower and free standing bath tub.
THE SERVICE AND FOOD
Mostly during our stay, we used the room service to dine as my husband had to go to sleep early for the Half Iron Man and he needed carbs loading and besides, we got the nice view from our room. Room service was quick and efficient. The food was acceptable. The housekeeping was thoughtful, they came twice a day to tidy up and refill the water and checked to make sure everything was in order. They gave us complimentary cake and some chocolate dates and daily fruit basket.
Has anyone of you stayed in this hotel? Let me know and I would love to hear your experience. Or feel free to email me if you want more information, I will try my best to help you!
Bisous,
C’est Jess

Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai
Other Comments:
- The view from the room was stunning. The hotel offers lots of options for restaurants and for exploring the Madinat Jumeirah area.
- The bed was super comfortable
- Jumeirah BH is easily accessible from Sheik Zayed Road and there is not much traffic even at peak hours in the area.
- The valet service takes ages. In general, the buggy services are unorganized and can take up to 20 min to come.
- To access the Burj Al Arab, you need to have a reservation "better book in advance" in our case, we did not plan it ahead and missed this opportunity.
- There are constructions currently ongoing to revamp the Marina, however the noise level was decent during our stay!
